Tomorrow, August 7th, come join in Lowell’s partnership with communities nationwide at the annual “National Night Out Against Crime.” The goal of the National Night Out (NNO) is to bring residents together with those who work hard keep our communities safe. The NNO will help further educate crime prevention, safety, and healthy living in a relaxing setting.
Learn from our community’s own heroes — the police department, fire department, sheriff department, EMS, and K-9 units as they demonstrate how to live happy, safe lives.
In addition, fun activities for the whole family have been planned which include raffles, music, and a film screening.
The NNO will be held at two different locations, both of which have different activities planned:
North Common Amphitheatre, Fletch Street at Father Sarantos Way
From: 6pm-9pm
Event: Block Party with DJ
Hosted by: Coalition for a Better Acre
Morey School Grounds, Pine Street at Walker Street
From: 6pm-9:45pm
Event(s): Neighborhood Social (6-8:30) and Outdoor Movie Screening of Disney’s “The Lion King” (8:30-9:45). Make sure to bring a lawn chair, blankets, and bug spray! Film Screening presented by Lowell Film Collaborative with support from the Lowell Alliance for Families and Neighborhoods.
